Contact Lens Assessments

The first step in your contact lens journey is an assessment. This is where an optometrist tests your eyes to ensure that contact lenses will work for you and then calculates your prescription and measures your corneas so you can be fitted with the right type of lens.

They will ask you some questions about how you want to use contact lenses and your previous experiences with vision correction. This helps us to fit you with contact lenses that are not only correct for your eyes but for your lifestyle as well.

Aftercare and Advice

It is recommended that contact lens wearers come in for check-ups to see that their lenses are still correct for their prescription and to reassess eye health.

Aftercare appointments are always managed by a qualified optometrist who carries out health checks, retests your prescription and chats with you about how you are finding your experience with contact lenses. If you want to make any changes or are looking for advice on contact lens use, we stay up-to-date with all the latest information to help you get the most out of your lenses.

The Different Types of Contact Lenses

Different types of contact lenses are designed to suit different prescriptions, eye types and preferences. You can choose between lenses for occasional or permanent use as well as daily and monthly disposables. If you have a strong prescription, multifocal vision or an eye condition, we may also recommend a specialised type of contact lens designed specifically for those types of eye. We make sure to stock as many types of contact lenses as possible, so all of our patients can find the right ones for them.
